SearchPilotTM
Increasing Your Chance of Finding a High Quality Match
SearchPilot™ gives you, the user, control to narrow or broaden your search. You'll see
the most notable difference in search results when you do a broad search. Broad
searches are those that use few criteria and so can sometimes return in excess of 30
results. (An example of a broad search would be a query for all the John Smiths in
Chicago, IL.) SearchPilot is ideal for narrower searches where you're looking for a
very specific set of criteria, but it's not always ideal for broad searches because a
SearchPilot search can only return up to 30 results. If you want more results you'll
want to unselect the SearchPilot option. Without the SearchPilot option engaged
you'll find the Interactive service works exactly as it always has: If your search
returns more than 30 records, you'll see the paging button displayed to allow you to
scroll through all your results.
Controlling SearchPilot is easy: If the "Use SearchPilot" box is checked, SearchPilot
will automatically monitor your results and look for ways to improve them. There is
no additional charge for using SearchPilot. Just check the SearchPilot option and you
are ready to go!
